OPEN LETTER TO MR GOVERNOR HIS EXCELLENCY SENATOR NURUDEEN ADEMOLA JACKSON ADELEKE: RESCUE US SIR AS WE ARE JUST THE VICTIMS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES
Your Excellency Sir,
Ademola Nurudeen Jackson (ADELEKE).
I want to congratulate you on the landslide victory and your succesful assumption of office as the number one citizen of Osun State.
The last few days have been activity filled as Osun State have witnessed a lot of transformations, this is a great signal of the great development that awaits Osun State in the next few years.
With due respect sir, I want to plead to you on one of your first steps, which is the suspension of the Workers employed by the past Administration dated from 17th July 2022, being after the Election, I want to plead you to review this process for the good of Osun State people, especially the newly recruited teachers, based on how actively they have been contributing to the development of their respective schools, considering the following reasons. The new recruited teachers are just victims of circumstances sir.
I. The past Administration was too slow on the employment process.
II. These workers, especially the teachers applied for the work around February to March in 2020 with the payment of Three thousand naira only (#3000.00K) to purchase registration PIN.
III. They wrote exams around February in 2021. Due to COVID-19 pandemic and Endsars Protest .
IV. They were screened and interviewed around MAY/JUNE 2021, but few were given appointment letters around March 2022 while the other were promised employment soon.
V. And later they selected another batch which is the last batch, and they were given appointment letter around ending September 2022, after election.
VI. All the previous processes except the collection of appointment letter were prior to the election.
So, with the above listed points, it will be well appreciated and sincerely acknowledged if the workers are considered and reabsorbed.
It is quite understandable that you are entitled to your decision based on the power of your office, but it will be a great honour if this message is given a favourable consideration.
