We heard it that the Federal capital desk of one of the Federal Government Social Investment Programmes ‘N-power’ has discovered that despite the instruction that was given that any government workers/civil servants should not participate in NPOWER program, some of workers in both public and private sectors on it’s payroll through the use of BVN have still been discovered.
The affected beneficiaries include; Police officers,Road Safety, Civil Defence, Doctors and Health workers in the federal government, while State,
Local Government workers and those working for private sectors were also detected.
As at the moment, no one is sure of the type of punishment reserved for the
affected beneficiaries, while names of the affected persons are yet to be published.

It has taken yoo long for the Npower Authority to discover the employed people taking part in the empowerment programme created for the unemployed graduates. Whether early or late, I give accolade to the Npower authority and the Buhari led administration for discovering the unscrupulous element and their nefarious activities through their anti corruption crusade. It is now left for the government to measure out drastic punishment to the people involved so as to serve as deterrent to the others and prevent future occurrence in this country.
